Further information

Our 4h 30min afternoon tour of the islands offers you the opportunity to sail from the heart of Venice to its most authentic lagoon. The meeting point is at the foot of the Calatrava Bridge, more precisely at the Venezia Santa Lucia train station in front of the KFC restaurant, at 13.45 (see map).

Here, at 14.00 you will start the navigation tour of the islands.

The first stop will be on the island of Murano (approx. 45 min), famous for its glassmakers. Here there will be a stop with the possibility of visiting, with a guide, a historic glassworks with a demonstration of glassmaking.

The second stop is on the island of Burano (approx. 45 min), famous for its colourful houses and its handmade lace. The stop includes enough time to be overwhelmed by the rainbow of colourful houses and visit one of the island's traditional lace factories with a guide.

Next we stop in Torcello (approx. 45 min), an island characterised by being the first Venetian settlement and which today has only ten inhabitants. The advice is to let your imagination guide you and explore the monumental area. This includes the ancient Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta with its Byzantine mosaics, the Church of Santa Fosca with its bell tower which can be visited, Attila's Throne and the Devil's Bridge.

The tour ends at approximately 18.45 with the return to St Mark's. Here you will have some time to continue the tour. Here you will have time at leisure to continue your evening in Venice. Free return.
